Well, again, it baffles me we can't rely on seat buttons in the LT and that there's not even any sort of link between key fobs and profiles.

LTs don't get the garage door opener, a stupid omission that I can bypass. But in a car that claims its integrated system is top-notch (to the point of keeping us from using Android Auto), I think it's pathetic the Blazer cannot even distinguish which key is being used.

Any hope this could be fixed via an OTA update?

If the Lt doesn't have seat memory feature it has nothing to do with Android automotive.. Without memory seats you can't recall b seat positions, this is the same for every car.

Of course, but what I meant was that GM has bragged about their integrated system, including the profiles that are supposed to make the experience smoother.

So if key fobs cannot even be associated with a specific profile, I mean, come on...
Memory seats would be a convenient plus, but hey, I'll survive and I love the BEV in almost every other aspect.

I don't know the details or limitations that may cause this issue but before Google built in your fob was tied to preferences and settings in the infotainment. But simply selecting your profile doesn't seem like a huge deal.

The seats/mirrors go to my setting if I hold the button that says 2 on the door near the handle. It doesn't automatically adjust when I get into the car with my key fob unless I'm misunderstanding something.
If the option to recall seats isn't enabled it won't do it automatically upon unlocking the car. Look in settings.

I think I have mentioned this twice already. Have you checked your settings for auto memory seat recall??? You haven't responded, but you keep saying that the way to recall the seats it by pressing the button. Its the same for easy exit, if the setting isnt enabled than you can do it with the button manually.

I know RS owners enjoy extra features that us LT suckers don't have, like memory seats, so for you guys it's just a matter of pressing #1 or #2.
Still, please tell me there's a way (in a LT) to link each key fob to a profile so that the seat position and the mirrors are automatically set when you enter the car with it.

I know profiles bring up some personal settings (like audio, Google account, Waze, etc.).
But I can't imagine that my wife and I would have to reposition the seat and mirrors EVERY DAMN TIME one of us gets into the BEV!
As well, I hope I don't have to manually select my profile each time.

Oh and I'm not even sure how can you link a keyfob to a profile.
For now, doesn't seem to make any difference which fob we use in regard to our profiles. Any advice would be appreciated.
Gotta say this whole personalization process was much easier in our Mach-e...
With the LT, no memory seats. So no, you can't make it work.

That's what I feared. As much as I had studied that car before getting it, I hadn't noticed we'd have to deal with this specific omission in our LT.

Now if I could only associate each key fob to a profile, I'd be OK.
as has been stated, the profiles are NOT connected to the fob- this seems to be related to the fact that they are within the google built in system. Older GM cars did have the capability of connecting HVAC, radio presets, etc. to each fob before Google built in.

With regards to linking profiles and keyfobs, I think they either ran out of time or got lazy. The key fob data is on the network, because it’s announced on the driver’s screen. I’ve got to believe Google can access the CANbus data because it interacts with other GM digital parameters like HVAC settings. Maybe we will all be shocked with an upgrade…

If we saw an upgrade it would be on a newer model year Blazer EV. I don't see GM retrofitting it via software.

Yes, it can be done, in the LT, you can link each key fob to a driver profile to have seat and mirror positions automatically adjust when you enter the car. Here’s how you can set it up:
  1. Create a Driver Profile: Start by setting up your seat and mirror positions to your liking.
  2. Save the Profile: Open the settings on the infotainment screen, and select Settings > Vehicle > Comfort and Convenience > Personal Profiles. From there, save your current seat and mirror settings to a driver profile.
  3. Assign a Key Fob: Once the profile is saved, you can assign it to a specific key fob. Follow the prompts to link the fob to your profile, which will automatically recall your saved settings the next time you enter with that key fob.
Each fob will then trigger the respective profile when the driver unlocks or starts the car. Hope this helps you solve your problems...

What you describe is exactly what I was hoping for!

Alas, when I got into Comfort & Convenience, there was nothing related to Personal Profiles, even less about key fobs.

I'm afraid that since you have a RS, you see things that us LT owners can only dream of... Thanks anyway!

There are reasons why the RS costs more, memory seats would be one of them. It's not uncommon for base models not to have memory seats.

I do not see this in RS RWD model. No way to link keyfob to profile and make it switch when me or the other driver with different key fob enters the car.

Memory seat does move (after you enable that in options) but only when your profile is active. If other driver uses and their profile stays when I enter the car and now the seat doesn't move to my setting. In this case I have to use the button 1 (my setting) to manually switch. Also need to manually change the profile back to mine.

GM/sadly google can't do good software lol. My previous Hyundai was slick whe. It comes to software with so many nice touches.

Between software inconsistencies, lack of front parking sensors and assist and forced subscription for Canadian users after 3 years I truly regret my decision.
