Anyone have their blazer updated to the fully "Fixed" version yet? Or has anyone taken delivery of a new blazer after the stop sale?

I have mine scheduled for the recall software update tomorrow, wondering how its going for everyone else?

Thanks,

Since buying mine on 19Oct23, I've had in back in the shop no less than Five times for software updates.
I've learned something new from my Dealer.
When I dropped by this past week, mainly to just say Hi, I asked them about any new Updates.
As usual, the Maintenance Supervisor asked me how things were going.
I told him I wasn't having any problems.
He surprised me and said-for the first time-that if I was not having any problems, I should hold off
bringing in and leaving the car for each Update as they come out.
He bottom-line advised me to only come back in when I was having problems.
At that time they would-under warranty-give me the latest update.
He said he had my VIN, and would immediately alert me to any Recall type work I needed to have done.
I really couldn't fault his logic, so that's what I'll be doing from now on.
He confirmed GM/Chevy still hadn't worked out the OTA thing.
But, he was confident that when they did, a lot of the current 'USB-Only' Updates will be taken care of via OTA Updates.
We'll see...

Just purchased a new Blazer ev late friday. Dealer said they had to install the new update before I could take it home. Since the Tech's went home for the weekend I am waiting for the Blazer to be delivered to my home today - Monday. They gave me a loaner to get home. I am looking forward to getting it, and driving and learning the sysem.

Hey! Our first post-stop sale purchase!

You're gonna love this thing, and without all the pain. It's almost too easy...

Welcome aboard!

I would kind of like to buy one but there is literally one unit on a lot in our (small) state and it's a color we don't want. So I hope I don't see an article about "disappointing sales after the stop-sale ended."

Do these updates show up under the computer update and history tab (under setup on the infotainment screen)

Bought a new Blazer EV last week on March 13. The dealer "SAID" it had the update. It was back in the shop next morning for various issues.... outside mirrors folded up and wouldn't come back down - without lots of button pushing. Blind spot monitors were alarming despite being the only vehicle on the road. Auto hold unavilable warning, Rear seat passengers unbuckled warning (no passengers in vehicle). Door latch mechanism warning. Windows stopped working in a drive through - fortunately I could back out....after coming out of the restaurant the door ajar wouldn't go off. I get warning chimes every time the vehicle goes below 2 mph (every stop sign or when I stop to talk to a neighbor. and they stay on until I get above 2mph. Touch screen sensitivity gets very bad. (even service rep had a hard time turning off the vehicle. Service department SWEARS it received the update - but computer history shows nothing but the October 2023 load. Been without the vehicle for 5 days now. Dealer says its ALL due to a faulty door switch (which has been overnighted 5 days ago. (today the story is 4 switches). BTW, former GM engineer here - so I know the service rep is blowing smoke. I would be interested in hearing what your computer history says after update.

It’s easy to check if you have the update once you have the vehicle back. And as a former GM engineer, you should know that electronic things failing can really cause mayhem with other systems.

I can tell you that it’s difficult to turn the vehicle off with the screen until you’ve done it a couple thirty times.

settings/system/about/build gives me android 12 Agean-Orange... which is the android auto version of the user interface, not the underlying GM vehicle management programming.

How long did the software updates take to complete? I just made an appointment with my dealer and they said about 1 hr to 1.5 hrs to complete the software update. Is that accurate?
I dropped mine off at 7:30am yesterday, and they are still working on it today. 1.5 hours doesn't seem realistic just because they have to update every module in the vehicle.
