Since buying mine on 19Oct23, I've had in back in the shop no less than Five times for software updates.
I've learned something new from my Dealer.
When I dropped by this past week, mainly to just say Hi, I asked them about any new Updates.
As usual, the Maintenance Supervisor asked me how things were going.
I told him I wasn't having any problems.
He surprised me and said-for the first time-that if I was not having any problems, I should hold off
bringing in and leaving the car for each Update as they come out.
He bottom-line advised me to only come back in when I was having problems.
At that time they would-under warranty-give me the latest update.
He said he had my VIN, and would immediately alert me to any Recall type work I needed to have done.
I really couldn't fault his logic, so that's what I'll be doing from now on.
He confirmed GM/Chevy still hadn't worked out the OTA thing.
But, he was confident that when they did, a lot of the current 'USB-Only' Updates will be taken care of via OTA Updates.
We'll see...
Same for me. It is a constant issue for me. Random service lights are off and on. Every time we document, open a tach case, wait for Chevy, and then close the case. No new updates or fixes yet. It is getting frustrating, to say the least. sad thing is they are now selling more of them with these same issues and no fix in sight.

That is crazy that you are still having so many issues.

My dealer did the update on Monday. I have not yet purchased it. They let me test drive it. My son and I took it for a 90 mile test drive last night. Everything worked great. The only scare was within the first couple minutes where the Infotainment screen was blank for about 2 minutes.

My theory is since I am still in Demo mode perhaps the Android system maybe is resetting?? Not sure if I should worry?

Is anyone else having blank screen issues still?

I haven't had any issues since mine was reprogrammed on December 11.

I called OnStar and they said they were aware of the issue and were working on it. No need to take it back to the dealer for service.

anyone else have this issue with Charge Assist after getting all the updates?
Received my car back today post major update, new build number is "aegean_orange-user 12 W27E-172.5.1-M169-SQBR4-126.4 101 release keys". A slew of changes that match the reports of others (ambient lighting, battery % instead of miles remaining repeated on the console; a surprise-to-me Alexa integration now loaded; etc).

That said, like you, I still receive the OnStar error 302 when trying to find a nearby charger using the loaded Charging app.

Please use this new sub-forum to report new dealer installed software updates their unique sequence number, date, as well as OTA updates when they become activated. Also use this space to report any problems that may arise after having them installed.

I had my 2 week old Blazer EV REPLACED today (Thanks GM Customer Satisfaction Program.) My first one went into the shop earlier this week (again) and was diagnosed needing a new module (didn't specify which one)...module on backorder with no estimated time of receipt except it could be weeks.... I had talked with GM Customer Satisfaction 4 times for over a week already over all the other problems (see other posts). Any way, I talked to them today and reiterated despite taking delivery over 2 weeks ago, that I had only been able to drive it for 300 miles over 5 days, with it being in the shop for 10 days, and now it could be weeks more. Said I wanted a new car...that there were 3 identical models in town at other dealerships. He said my request wasn't unreasonable at this point and that he'd call the dealer. Three hours later I walked into the dealership and said I wanted a replacement. They didn't even question it. (the fear of GM God?). My original car was a stop sale vehicle that obviously hadn't been updated (despite the dealer swearing it had been updated, both before and after the first breakdown. Took my brand new Blazer EV home and discovered that the infotainment screen interface had minor changes....and under the update and history tab, ALL updates (March 2nd and 4th were listed) They were not listed on my original "updated" vehicle. So, when working with your dealer...trust but Verify.

Here is the reprogramming work order for our Bat Blazer. We had only one minor glitch when I dropped it off (infotainment blinks) but they went through every module. It took about 1.5 days. We had a brand new Terrain AT4 to drive during that time and I couldn’t wait to get back in our Blazer seats and away from the Terrain’s awkward shifting setup.

Ok I know this is off topic and I apologize for it but….”Bat Blazer???” 🤔

@BennyEV Haha! My wife is saying the same thing. When we bought it, sight unseen except for photos, I thought it looked kind of Batmobile-like, with its stealth all-black exterior and surprising red interior so I came up with that name. Our two almost 3-year old granddaughters sure have funny ways of saying "Black Bat Blazer" - more like "Bwack Bat Bwayzah." Love it!

Oh ok! I get it. It has been decades since I thought of Batman. LOL!!!

I now return you to your on topic...err....topic. :D

FWIW. I just had my Blazer EV RS replaced. My NEW vehicle was just delivered from the factory 2 days ago. Under Vehicle History and Updates, it shows: 85727297.mnf dated March 4, 2024, Important update GM N24243624 dated March 2 2024, and Important update GM N23F171AC dated December 2023. My "old " Blazer EV RS (despite the dealer SWEARING it was updated) had none of these updates and only showed the original load (I assume) of October 2023. I've also noted that the infotainment screen icons and menus have slight variations on the new model. EricFromMI, the tab settings/system/about/build does not exist on the new replacement car.

Thanks for this info. Randy! What is the build date for your Blazer? That last update Dec.2023 has me wondering...

That is very interesting information indeed.

I spoke with the DM and decided to initiate a buy back. We are done. Now I wonder how this will all play out with the reimbursement check? We shall see. Lemon law covers us but they may want to deduct check amount from purchase price?

Just be aware. Ours did not start glitching until 2 months after having it out on the road. I am being told it is the same software in the Ines they are currently selling. Hoping yours is ok!

We bought our Blazer RS July 7. Now with 590 miles, we got some error messages, service ESC, service brake system, and more.

We took it to Gilroy Chevy on Wednesday July 24. They said they found codes in several modules and were contacting GM technical. Yesterday (Thursday), they said they talked to the regional tech and were told to replace the 12 volt battery and then update the modules.

Today (Friday) they said "there was an issue" after replacing the 12 Volt battery. Now they're ordering a new fuse box because they said one module was not getting power. That part comes from Michigan so at least 4-5 days away. I'm suspicious of the technician's EV skill level. The service advisor doesn't really know what's going on.

The Blazer warranty includes courtesy transportation. I've been fighting with the service advisor for two days and still nothing. I called the GM EV concierge today who said she would contact the dealer when she had time.

This is a frustrating start to our first EV ownership experience.
