we are only halfway through 2025. I wasn't interested in comparing anything.
Either way his point is 2025 is a much more complete picture because all the models we are talking about have been on sale for the entire period. And in that period the equinox is handily outselling the Honda and the Blazer is very close to matching it.

if we constantly make excuses for, and enable GM's missteps in their infotainment system, how is it going to improve? There is a balance between being needlessly critical, and ignoring their mistakes, or trying to justify them. Look at other brands who are doing a better job to see where things should be going, and are not at the moment for GM vehicles.
Everyone does not have the same experiences. There are many people who have had none or a few minor issues. After 15,000 miles the one issue I had is the charge door needed replacement. I wasn't too happy, but it was an easy fix, and in the big picture of things one problem after 15,000 miles is pretty good. I have had no problems with the infotainment.

I have about 7400 miles and no issues with infotainment. My main problem was with my rear windows and it seems to have been a wiring harness installation issue from the factory and after 3 attempts they figured it out and solved it for good. I also had an issue where the moon roof would close and then partially reopen as if it had hit an obstacle- they fixed that on attempt #1. The software and infotainment has not been an issue for me. I would like to see more apps, but honestly the apps I need or would use are already there.

I have owned my Blazer ev rs red for over a year and have driven the vehicle 15,000 miles. So far, I had only one issue. My charger door had to be replaced. As far as car play I don't miss it at all. I find the built in google system better. Millions of Tesla owners have no problems not having car play. Trust me you will not miss car play and the Blazer system is much more than functional.
I have a Blazer RS too. I had to have the charger door replaced too. I don’t miss car play either. In fact I drive my daughter’s gas Equinox while my charger door was Being replaced and I don’t like CarPlay anymore.

When our 15yo ICE car was finally dead, which was in May of 2024, we went car shopping. At that time I was nursing our old car along as much as possible because I was waiting for the "next big thing" to hit the EV market. We had been waiting over a year, I was anxious for the Ultium cars to come out, because I needed the $7500 tax credit and the other cars that qualified for it, we didn't like. When I heard that Honda had their own branded version called "Prologue", I figured we would go look at that one as well. We ended up sitting in a Prologue first, and we weren't really all that impressed. The biggest issue I had was that all the cars on the dealer's lot, had sun roofs and I hate sun roofs (I'm 6'8" and I need those two extra roof inches. Plus, they leak and make the car hotter). I also just was unimpressed with the interior of the car, and the fact that all the "cool" colors were $500 extra.

Then we went to the Chevy dealer to look at a Blazer and we were sold immediately on the roominess the ride and the styling of the car. We bought one in Blue and have been very happy with it since.
