Hi everyone,

Long story short, May 19th 2023 on my birthday i decided to put my name on the waiting list for a Blazer EV LT Trim full equiped. The day after it was confirmed by my car dealer that my car just got out of the production line, the stop sales happend...

Almost a year later, hundreds of hours watching YouTube videos about it, reading every single news about it, the wait is finaly over! In 2 weeks i'll be driving it. Im a Taxi driver here in Montréal and i can't wait to start driving people everywhere and make people turn their head hehe

So... do you guy's happy so far with your Blazer after the new update? Is there any other problem not solved yet? Any recommendation?

Mine is working fine also. Has been since 12/11/2023. I had the recall update done about a week ago, and even though I'm sure there are lots of other improvements that are not readily visible, the only real difference I see is that now there are color choices for the ambient lighting.

The on/off/pause switch that mepafford referred to has been working on mine since the December reprogramming.

Your happiness with the car will depend mostly on the skill and patience of the technician who works on it. I'm so happy with mine I've ordered an Equinox EV for my wife.

I just got mine last weekend. Dealer let me drive for a week before buying and I fell in love with it. Got the Dark red, RS and it’s amazing. Love the ride so much. Everything seems to work flawlessly. I have not taken a long trip or used chargers outside of home yet. I had a 2014 and 2019 Volts. Just sold the 2014 with 150k miles. Never had a single issue with either. I need to get a Tesla adapter though. I need to research what to get since GM is not providing yet. Was not happy about lack of Apple play, but my iPhone works great without it. I always used google maps on Apple play anyway 😝. Now I just need that new GM Truck.

@tony.sisson I'm impressed with your dealer letting you drive it for a week. I also hope they have an experienced EV Tech on staff. I assume you bought from the dealer that services your Volts so you should be in good shape.
We went to the opposite extreme with our purchase - bought it sight unseen, no test drive. Haven't regretted it for a moment - well, maybe a few moments before the software exorcism - and love driving it. Purchased October 19 and just rolled past 9,000 miles. Still feels and drives like a new car.

Bat Blazer and I are the Jim Furyk and Mike Weir of EV Blazers (the two pro golfers have the same birthday; we bought our EV Blazers on the same day). 😊
Like his, mine still drives 'new' also.
Just got back from our first longer road trip yesterday (VA-WVa-VA).
About 700 miles total.
Used Electrify America (EA) CCS1 DCFCs both ways. Went fairly smoothly.
I got Summary Texts from the EA app after each charge.
I'm going to compile them in a PDF to share here on the forum.

You will see some of my old posts around from 2023 about the frustrations I had. I began working with BBB for a repurchase and am almost there (hopefully this next week now that I signed my offer letter and returned it to GM). I had a small car as a loaner and after I heard about the new software and start sale starting again I had my dealer do the software update and I started driving it again. I have not had any issues since and that was about a month ago. In fact, it has changed my mind and now I plan to repurchase the same vehicle after GM repurchases the one I have now.
