Our 2025 Blazer EV RS AWD (SuperCruise) received an OTA today. Details in the screenshots below. Haven't noticed any differences yet but it appears the B199B (Right Rear Turn Signal - Lighting Control Module) issue with this car may be resolved. I ran the right signal for quite some time and it didn't default out and drop that corner.

Update: GM N25-F172AE

I'm definitely jealous that you got an OTA. I've had my 2024 RS since last May and have not had even one OTA. :(

"N24-F172AC... the only ota update we ever got so far". Except I never got that OTA. I did get the vehicle wide reprogramming, including the radio, in November. But I never got a notice that an OTA was coming or that one had been installed. My understanding was that the OTA was really just to enable the vehicle to get real, meaningful OTAs in the future. I'm due back at the dealer in about a month for my 7500 mile service and installation of a 2nd charger door, assumming it ever shows up. Is the content of that single OTA available from the dealer? Can they somehow initiate the OTA? I assume it's possible that I simply missed seeing it install. Is there some way I can check if it snuck by me?

My girlfriend got this OTA for her 2024 Equinox EV 3LT AWD yesterday. She has received two other OTA updates since purchasing the vehicle in July.

Meanwhile, my 2024 Blazer EV RS AWD has never received an OTA update. I did have updates done at the dealership last month though.

Got notified today about GM N25-F172AE being ready for install on my ‘24 LT. I tried installing it 3 times as I sat in the car and it failed all 3 times. I previously installed N24-F172AC without any issues. Maybe I will give it another shot later… It is interesting that this update seems to be rolling out so slowly to people.

I had my HV battery replaced and also software updated in early March 2025. Then yesterday my dealer called and said they wanted me to come in ASAP for recalls. I was free so I went in. They did the recalls for the

“N242468490: Service Update - Missing Chassis Harness Plug”

“N252492430: Service Update - Heated Wiper Park Inoperative”.

Oddly both the GM and NHTSA websites didn’t show those recalls applied to my VIN 🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️

Repair was:

“K219 Lighting Control Module Control Function (Power Mode Off) - SUCCESS

K219 Lighting Control Module Programming- SUCCESS”

GM has released a fix for the heated wiper park feature.

The 2024 Chevy Blazer EV and the 2025 Chevy Blazer EV are both included in a new General Motors Service Bulletin that describes a fix that has been released for an inoperative heated wiper park feature that fails to heat properly.

Notably, GM Service Bulletin N252492430 applies to the Heater Wiper Park (RPO code CMO) feature introduced on the 2024 Chevy Blazer EV, which is detailed in a GM Authority feature spotlight where you can read up on the technology’s specifics.

The heated wiper park is a defroster element in the base of the windshield. This heats up the windshield base and thus also the wiper blades when they are in the “parked” position, conserving their effectiveness in winter. In affected Chevy Blazer EV units, this defroster fails to properly heat the windshield base and thus the wipers in contact with it.

GM instructs EV-qualified dealership service personnel to carry out the available fix for affected Chevy Blazer EV units through the end of the crossovers’ New Vehicle Limited Warranty period. The fix is available free of charge to current owners. It requires no new parts or component replacement and consists of reprogramming the Lighting Control Module of the Blazer EV.

This reprogramming can be carried out OTA (over the air) or directly at the dealership.

Why would a service action show up as a recall? Nowhere in the post does it state that it is a recall?
yeah Im, not sure this is a recall and either way as I noted it appears the NHSTA site is no longer being updated by the government. There have been no new blazer bulletins since january
These aren't recalls. GM has the same internal update/numbering system as NHTSA for their internal service updates and TSBs.

If a Dealer is saying its a recall it's actually called a Customer Satisfaction Program for non Safety related updates.

I don’t know what to tell you guys on that. The dealer called (and texted) and literally said there were two “recalls” and they requested I come in the next day to take care of them as it was “urgent”. How would a consumer know the difference?

I think this is really just dealers playing games so they can book those service hours for the reflash. I had a dealer hound me a couple years ago for an owner's manual supplement. They bugged me once or twice a week for MONTHS to come get this single owners manual page and book 0.2h of labor against warranty (billed back to GM, not me) for printing out a one-page supplement. You're exactly right, you would never know that it's anything other than a "recall" if that's what they told you.

So my service advisor grabbed his code reader and plugged it into the OBD port. He said he can't charge GM for the work if thete arevno codes. Sure enough, both issues showed up even though my car shows no recalls in the database. I recommend folks ask for this check if your dealer doesn't automatically address both items.

Good to see GM is pushing updates OTA again on the Blazer.

I’m assuming the version my car is running on, with the heated and cooled seats grouped together, will have to wait for a dealer to do the other updates before I can get this OTA update. Has anyone on the same version as me (sqbr4-126.4) gotten the update pushed to them?
