I had my HV battery replaced and also software updated in early March 2025. Then yesterday my dealer called and said they wanted me to come in ASAP for recalls. I was free so I went in. They did the recalls for the

“N242468490: Service Update - Missing Chassis Harness Plug”

“N252492430: Service Update - Heated Wiper Park Inoperative”.

Oddly both the GM and NHTSA websites didn’t show those recalls applied to my VIN 🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️

Repair was:

“K219 Lighting Control Module Control Function (Power Mode Off) - SUCCESS

K219 Lighting Control Module Programming- SUCCESS”

I don’t know what to tell you guys on that. The dealer called (and texted) and literally said there were two “recalls” and they requested I come in the next day to take care of them as it was “urgent”. How would a consumer know the difference?

Why would a service action show up as a recall? Nowhere in the post does it state that it is a recall?
These aren't recalls. GM has the same internal update/numbering system as NHTSA for their internal service updates and TSBs.

If a Dealer is saying its a recall it's actually called a Customer Satisfaction Program for non Safety related updates.

What version does your system show now?
“W38E-174.4.1-M170-SQBR5-180.3 38”

Unfortunately I thought I had a photo of the build number before, but I can’t find it.

I was on “W27E-172.5.1-M169-SQBR4-126.4” through Feb 2025, then got a VWP in early March 2025 and I know that got me to SQBR5-180.3 (by memory - I’m pretty sure), but I’m not sure if any of those other numbers changed with this update today.

FYI, I did a 10-80% charge test last night on N25-2494560. I stopped at 60% when it became clear I wasn’t going to beat my best session of 34 minutes. Probably was on track for 37+ minutes.

So definitely no “magic” fix to DCFC with this (at least for my car)

What was ambient when you got the 34 minute time? I'm convinced the cooling system can't keep up with the high heat generated during DCFC. I think I saw throttling around 12x degrees. That's not much of a increase from the 90 degrees needed for max speeds.

Had anyone seen numbers for the Lyriq post update?
I don’t remember exactly, but it was pretty cool. Maybe close to freezing, quite possibly below. Yesterday’s attempt on the new update was a late evening at 75F (24C) after a daytime high of 90F (32C)
