A typic NMAC battery loses voltage with lower state of charge....So if the demand for current is the same when you push on the accelerator ...it makes sense that you have more power at the higher SoC..but i am not sure if the car will ask for more current at lower SoC. One advantage of LFPs is that the voltage change very little with SoC.

 

Definitely. The power gauge will show you how much kW are lost. It's like 30 hp when you get low enough. First couple of times I drove the Blazer AWD and Equinox I was shocked by how sluggish they felt, as every EV I had driven was very quick. Turns out it was because the dealerships always had them at less then 15%. When I test drove my RS RWD, it had the acceleration I expected as compared to the AWD. I made sure they charged it first as well.
