Do you have a copy of the window sticker? It looks like you might be getting some additional discount direct from GM and no discount from the dealer.

Is that "Total Credit" from the dealer?

 

Was wondering the same. Given that this is in California, I'm assuming the $15,000 was the federal tax rebate (or ultium promise depending on vin) of $7,500, and the California credit of $7,500, but maybe not....

 

Does CA also offer a $7500 credit ?????

 

They're charging you $1747 in add-ons, listed in the accessory line. Unless those were accessories you asked for, they are adding something to it.

Have you looked into any other incentives or promotions that could potentially lower the cost of the RS RWD even further?

 

I'm guessing this RS RWD has the panoramic sunroof and the Bose System. There is another $499 in options that would bring the cash price up to $58,269.00. Not sure if other incentives are available or not, but on the surface this looks like a great deal. Please provide the window sticker or at least provide the dealership and vin #.

 

Apparently the dealership was double dipping on Ultium Bonus Cash $7500 and the Fedral EV Tax but by rule you should be getting only either of them. This is kind of scam if you come across such quote. For 2024 dearship can take off the EV tax credit at point of sale and later when you file your taxes you will get tax rebate if you qualify but in this case since the vehicle itself is not eligble if sold in 2024 you will end up paying back $7500 and dealership will get away saying you didn't qualify !

@atwob Starting May 1st in US if you have Costco membership you qualify for additional $1000.

 

Not surprised of this scam. I purchased my RS RWD out of State and made triple sure it qualified for the Ultium
Bonus Cash before I got on the plane. I would not have qualified for the tax credit so I needed a vehicle recently produced but before the newer production vehicles qualified for the tax credit. My 2/24 production RS RWD met this criteria, but Blazers produced in March now qualify for the tax credit.

Definitely scam as MSRP is around $51K!! Why the heck can GM not go to a Tesla sales model? One price for all!!

 

Well ! If you take out traditional way of selling cars by taking out dealership, imagine how many people will become unemployed ! Tesla also received so much push back intially in many states by not going thru dealership.

 

There will still be people in the dealership to service cars and probably do the delivery thing also. But these scammer dealers need to go who make buying a car a nightmare.

 

I mean, it's unlikely an intentional scam. It's a new rule without easy to read guidance. It would be an easy mistake to make.

 

You know how dealers will do anything to get you in and then rip you a new one uf trapped.

 

It all looks correct except for the $15,000 mfg discount and no $7500 federal (tax) allowance. Are they effectively indicating that GM is doubling the allowance?
