Neat. May I ask what you are looking for in the Blazer EV that the Y doesn't have?
Mostly comfort. I wouldn't be looking for a replacement if the first two issues didn't exist. It's not a bad car, just not for me. I did own a model 3 prior, and got the Y to trade in for an EV that appeals to me. I'm also waiting for the Equinox EV because I prefer that size more, but I will take whatever comes first.
Negatives of Model Y in order of importance...
The ride in the Y is pretty trash. It's pretty stiff and bouncy at the same time. I get motion sickness driving on poor roads.
Not a fan of their one pedal driving implementation. It's too touchy, and unnatural to me. It's like driving a electric go kart, or golf cart. Other EVs I've driven were much easier to drive smoothly; but a car with the option to disable OPD is a requirement now.
I think their steering ratio is too quick for comfort. I end up having to correct way too often when driving.
AC is weak and I like to adjust my vents a lot. Having it all behind software makes it unusable for me.
The interior is a loud echo chamber. It's hard to talk or listen to music at times. I think this is mostly due to a massive greenhouse with the glass roof.
Rear seat access is difficult with wide convex doors, sloping roof, narrow foot opening, and wide door sills.
I had a model 3 with radar prior. I think the tesla vision is bad; it phantom brakes too much for me to trust it, so I just don't use it anymore. I'd be happy with just radar cruise control.
Appeals of Blazer in order of importance...
Android automotive. Big on google ecosystem. It would be nice for my infotainment system to have google maps and play music natively so I don't have to fiddle around my phone. When I had android auto I also frequently used google assistant to check my home security devices, read out scores, ask questions, and set reminders when I arrive at my destination.
Regen options. I heard Chevy's system is very smooth.
Ventilated seats. I miss ventilated seats.
RWD. I don't need the traction. I think RWD is the most fun to daily. Extra range would be nice.
Cameras. 360 camera and rear view camera.
Physical controls. Soft buttons are not ideal. I prefer Mazda's rotary knob the most.
