It sure would be nice if Chevrolet would let us know what the 0-60, torque, HP, etc is going to be for the RS and below models. RS AWD, RS RWD and RS FWD would be great since I am getting ready to order mine.

Getting ready to order yours based on what? I've not seen any hard dates this will be available. Does anybody really think you're going to have to place actual orders without full data? That would seem to be over-the-top.
My Chevy dealer just informed me that he can now place an order for them. Only the RS AWD and only 4 color options and black interior right now.

there were a lot of people on facebook group saw your message, no other people had the same info.
This makes thing out rageous, absolutely no transparency from GM.
They rely too much on the dealer.

When I had my Tesla (Received), and Polestar 2(Cancel) Ordered, super easy, build it, submit deposit, and wait.
You ask a question via Chat. and you get your answer. They even give you a delay for delivery.
All, manufacturer should do this. Or at least, makes annoncement on the web portal, or have a customer accessible portal to look at your status.

expect the RS to be similar to the lyriq. 340/325. 0-60 We have seen the lyriq get to mid 5's. I could see the blazer being maybe a tad bit quicker, since Cadillac usually uses heavier quality product.

My dealer told me I would not be getting a Blazer EV this year. I ordered within minutes of the order is being opened. It is interesting the varying information that is out there.

If you are looking for an RS, you should be able to get one by the end of summer. That's assuming your dealer gets the allocation from GM for one but configuring of RS orders starts later this month with the hopeful delivery time of July-ish.

Welcome to the forum @nsquared21! Which Blazer EV model do you want to get? There's a chance you'd get a 2LT and RS this year as they're the first models being built.

AVAILABLE STARTING SUMMER 2023

The 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV 2LT and RS go on sale in summer 2023, priced starting around $47,595 and $51,995. respectively. The SS follows later in 2023, priced starting around $65,995, followed by the 1LT and the PPV fleet model in Q1 2024. The 1LT will be priced starting around $44,995.

Hey @iLLmaTic3s welcome to the forum! Until we get the official numbers I think that's a reasonable guess for the 0-60 time. Are you looking to get a RS?

We have not even got to know the battery size, drivetrain variation and option. And we are April.

I guess, those are the base FWD 2LT and RS? Not eAWD, and RWD (RS).
It's still super vague to believe, we will get a car in summer.

Why cannot GM do a bit more transparency?

For some people might not care about the drivetrain.
But getting an RS, for lots, because it has the RWD (Extended range) and awd option.

If GM only going to release FWD first, those who wants RWD or AWD are going to be left in the dark again.
Who knows what GM has plan? Serious!!!!

Are you considering other EVs or just set on getting a Blazer?

I selected the RS when I made my reservation. I chatted with Chevy EV order specialist and they told me a couple of things.
  • How early you made your reservation doesn't matter, the dealers will get to choose who gets to place their order first.
  • I, for some reason was under the impression there was such thing as an " exclusive" reservation. They told me there was no such thing.
My preference would have been for the Blazer EV but at this point I'm leaning more towards a Model Y with the recent price drops.

This lack of communication from GM and Chevy is making the process ridiculous. The the unknown black box that is dealer allocations and the dealers being able to do whatever they want makes this process seem like it is being ran by elementary students.

The ordering process from Tesla was so simple for getting my Model 3.

i totally feel you.
That's why we already switch one of the two car with an Tesla M3SR+. No regret. Great EV! Lot of fun. It is unparrallel, like experience.
The shopping experience is nice, no middle man, no haggle. All transparent.

The new way of buying EV should be revamp. or should I say, any Pre-order car, should be made this way for the middle class

Hey Chevy….can you give us an update on 0-60 times for the RS models????

Talked to my dealer yesterday. He was able to order two RS models to be used as Demos. The only options he had was interior and exterior colors. They will come loaded with options. These are to be used as Demos for 6 months. He was also told that if he sold them before 6 months after receiving them that he would loose his ability to sell any Chevy Electric vehicle. He was told reservations would be filled after the dealers got their Demos.

Do you know if the RS is AWD? RWD or FWD?

I hope he ordered black exterior with red & black interior. The best colors I think.

If I was a dealer I would order an AWD and a RWD and have one in each interior color to see. As far as Ext color maybe order the colors that are different from other vehicles on the lot.
