Funny how the info on there still shows it comes with Android Auto and Apple Car Play, which we all know is not true.

Useless link. It's all copy paste from the Chevrolet presse release material

Not sure what this is supposed to be telling us. It's all old information that's been available for months.

Click bait
Old information in new link. I was given the same information when I called Chevy Blazer Customer Service. They also are using old info. It stinks that we don't have any real updates from Chevy.

Pretty bummed out about the CarPlay thing... really looking forward to the Blazer but really uneasy about being forced out of CarPlay. We've got our Bolt on lease extension, hopefully until the Blazer finally rolls out but now I'm looking at backup options... I think I would be willing to try no CarPlay but would be pretty unhappy if the interface/nav sucks/is slow. I really dislike Google maps.

Welcome to the forum. What backup options are you looking at?

Hey @wyatt11 welcome to the forum! Yeah you're not the only one that's skeptical about the lack of CarPlay going forward. How long have you had your Bolt and how has it treated you?

I guess waiting for the EV9 would be my only option. Really don't want to stay in the 250 mile range and move up to the 300 mi range.

Had the Bolt for 3 years now, 2020. I love my Bolt, no complaints other than just can't take the family camping/trips :) We have a Niro EV as well which is our current family trip car. We went electric with the Soul EV so looking forward to hitting the 300 mi range era vehicles, I feel like thats it, thats all the range we need.
I'm taking a "wait n see" approach to Android Automotive. It is true when they say that 99% of all connectivity issues has nothing to do with the phone or the car or the app. It all has to do with the cheap cables people use to connect phones to the car. It doesn't even matter if you yourself use a good cable, they have to program the app to be able to handle the lowest common denominator. Since Android Automotive is a full functioning operating system and not just a simple app like AA or Carplay, no phone is required, in theory it'll solve that issue.

FWIW, I don't use Google Maps either. Waze is far superior to any other navigation app on the market as far as I'm concerned.

Are you getting the RS or waiting longer for the SS?
I am mixed in my decision but want to hold out for the SS.....
