GM is either like I said above, market the supercruise reserve for higher end trim and cut the market that way for the new EV generation.
Bolt is discontinuing so and be replace with Equinox. So you pretty much can reset your standard here.
Supercruise is for the $$$. And plus, you might need to pay monthly for that.
Everything now is optional, if you want to capitalize, you need to offer on subscription base.

I am okay paying a reasonable monthly fee for services that require a data/cellular connection like remote start/lock from a phone or for things that need updating like super cruise. However, subscription for things like heated seats or android auto/apple carplay is absolutely ridiculous. I would need to decide if $25 is worth it for super cruise. Also I would want to know what features can be used once the 3 year trial ends. Like will simple lane centering and adaptive cruise control still work?

Unless something drastically changes, I'm pretty sure that lane centering and adaptive cruise control will continue to be part of a package that does not require a data connection to work.

That's good. I know the bolt only comes with lane keep assist which bounces you between the lane lines. Lane centering is only available with the super cruise package, but I have not heard either way if the lane centering works if you let the super cruise subscription expire.
