Joined yesterday, sent my reservation in on 7/28. Did not get to choose trim. Waiting for dealer to contact me. It's been a few years since I was in a forum.

I agree with BlazerEvSsAllin - I would get a reservation in as soon as possible if you want a chance to get one in the next couple of years. You can always cancel, but the longer you wait, the further it will push out your delivery.Welcome. You should réserve now as most 2024s are probably sold out or reserved
I suspect that there will be a large number of reservations that are canceled for a wide variety of reasons, but the demand is likely to remain high for the near term.
Well, I'm driving a Tesla now. I'm a patient and cautious sort. If I have to wait for the 2nd or 3rd model year, that's alright, it'll give them a chance to work out the kinks. By that time I'm confident that there will be lots more electric vehicles to choose from. I'm charging from solar, so basically driving for free, I still have one gas burner, but will never buy another gas powered vehicle going forward.
