Loud click noise from front end when turning

I'm driving a 2LT AWD, and lately, I've been hearing a worrisome clicking noise from the front end when I turn. It gets louder when I accelerate while turning, and it really sounds like a bad CV joint. Has anyone else with a 2LT AWD encountered this problem?
Don't be surprised if it is an axle problem. I am starting to see complaints such as yours on Honda Prologue forums and I think we've had a few here too. I'll have to check if I can find that thread. Regardless take it in to your dealer for a check on the issue and get back too us on what you are told. I could not find anything on your issue here, but did find this on the Prologue forum. By the way the Honda and Blazer share the same chassis. https://www.prologuedrivers.com/threads/i’ve-got-the-axle-issue.928/?post_id=8146#post-8146

Mine started making this sound the other day when it was really cold. I had already been having a "gear howl" at neutral pedal that would be louder after driving for a long while. Took it to the dealer, they replicated the howl but the clicking had stopped. GM Had them stethoscope and record the sound and now they are replacing my main drive unit completely saying it is not drivable. Not sure how long I'll be waiting for that to happen.
The entire driveline and both motors?

Just the primary so the front whole assembly.
It will be very interesting to see exactly what is replaced, and how detailed the write up will be on the completed work order. See if you can find out if GM / Chevy is going to do a in depth autopsy on the removed driveline components. See if you can find the tech. that does the work to see if the source of the problem was obvious or not. If it was internal I would suspect not. Good luck!

Brought our blazer in yesterday to have them check it out in the cold. They say its a bad front axle. Good news (relatively speaking) is they say it will only take a week to get the part...
Can you find out: What makes it a bad axle? Were they able to visually make this determination on a lift and if so what did they see?

So far I have just heard back from the service manager but I’ll update this post when I hear back from the master tech. The service manager said the tech WAS able to visually identify the issue but isn’t surprised others have missed it. They are only replacing the left axle, for now at least, because the right side doesn’t show the same issue.
It will be interesting to know exactly what the tech. saw and perhaps have some idea what caused the defect. It's also interesting that the defect does not exist on the other axle. The "for now" part is not exactly confidence inspiring though.:cautious:
