Had issues and your 12 volt battery was replaced?

I finally got my Service Invoice sent to me from the dealer (for some reason they couldn't print it out when I picked up the car because the Service Manager was on vacation...????). Anyway, they did not replace our battery. Recharged it, reprogrammed the batter energy control module, the brake system control module, the serial data gateway module....

Not sure if all those reprogrammed modules were related to the 12v battery draining, and I'm less than pleased that they just recharged a battery that had gone flat dead. We shall see

Waiting for the next gremlin to pop up.... still working with GM to buy back. Went to Hyundai to look at a Inoique 5 and they would only give us $30k on trade....

FTFY.

If you are gonna go for an Ioniq 5, which is a BEAUTIFUL vehicle BTW, I would research into it and the issues that they have had as well. I would also wait for the 2025 model. That actually has a rear wiper which is a great move indeed.

There are a lot of youtube channels to help you out. The Ioniq Guy is a great one.....as is CarsJubilee ( he sold his so watch his earlier videos )

In retrospect the BlazerEV has had LESS issues than the Ioniq 5. I would stay with the Blazer to be honest.

Also do some research on the Ioniq Forums as well. - https://www.ioniqforum.com/
Thanks... good advice and will follow the Ioniq Forum for awhile. A quick perusal and I didn't see complaints about fatal failures... Our Blazer has been in the shop 47 out of the 240 days we have owned it..... the last time it died from the 12v battery issue and had to be towed.... frankly, part of our issue is an incompetent local dealer and GM... neither seem to be able to get their act together.
