This will cause several people to jump ship, if you can't add it after the fact if not going to be available. Why invest this much into a car and can't get super cruise. eeeek GM. Time shall tell.

Time shall tell.My dealer told me something similar. 2LT RS and SS are all supposed to get Super Cruise as an option or standard, but because of supply chain issues only the top-level trim is getting it for now. No word if it can be added later or not or when the option is be available again.
exactly; i cannot afford the SS. If they indeed not going to offer it, I will jump ship to Tesla Model Y instead. There's no advantage on the Blazer if the "software" parts isn't any attractive. This will cause several people to jump ship, if you can't add it after the fact if not going to be available. As a minor note, Waze is now available on Android Automotive for Volvo and Polestar. I'm not sure when GM is getting it though. The Volvo/Polestar version of Waze doesn't project to the driver's display and doesn't trigger battery preheating for charging. It also doesn't supply expected charge on arrival like the Android Automotive version of Google Maps.exactly; i cannot afford the SS. Only thing that the blazer was shortlisted, was their so called 17" infotainment.
I don't think its actually 17", because some of the display area is for the volume button. It's more like 12-13" at most.
Now that carplay won't be offered, no AA android mirroring, GM is forcing people to use the Google Play store on the car itself.
It will be super limited in the number of Apps available.
It will be a deal breaker for me, if I cannot use Waze.
In the Lyriq FB group, people confirm, the Google Play store; it doesn't have Waze. However, 2023/2024 Lyriq still has AA/CP.
Not in the Blazer.
I don't want to use a phone holder....
If there is a solve to add on the super cruise then fine. I can live with that. But I’m sorry I can spend less or same for a Tesla or mach e and get self driving. If EV is the future then offer it. I mean it shows available on two trims or the equinox. Who knows. GM has to get there act together.exactly; i cannot afford the SS. Thanks for sharing. This gives me hope to order a SS by the end of this year. Fingers crossed.I was quizzing my local dealer about the demo units, and it turns out they only had the option to choose the color. But He did share with me the actual order with all the options in detail, and here they are. He has no idea on the delivery date. Some really interesting detail that I have not seen posted anywhere before. And it let's us know what all is available. I have removed the actual 3 digit alphanumeric option codes since I don't know if they want those made public. Any why did they order white.. really?

"As long as it's black." Oh, that's Ford's demo ordering page. LOLHe gave me the impression that the only thing they could pick was the color.
7/23 or 7/24?I was able to get the demo order detail from another local dealer, and they all have the same options, same target production date of 7/24. The only difference is that this other dealer ordered Gray and Radiant Red Metallic, both of which I want to see! My guess is that TPW is just a filler and it will likely change.
Crossing my fingers for Comma.AI. It works on the Bolt but only Bolt Premier without SC.SC has been removed from the blazer EV page since the begining of the year on RS. Only SS can come available.
Or, probably they can still option, no idea.
7/24/20237/23 or 7/24?
I’m sorry but a Cadillac isn’t a Chevrolet. The unfortunate issue is we can get super cruise like features on other competitors that offer it on lower trims. We also can’t assume what we don’t have valid proof on what is even offered.I don't everyone is freaking out about the potential lack of Supercruise on non-SS trim. But I do think it's pretty reasonable to speculate that the feature has been stripped from RS and other lower trims. SC is only available on the top two trims of the Lyriq now (Luxury 2/3 and Sport 2/3). Cadillac is also only building non-SC Lyriqs right now, presumably due to parts shortages.
Blazer EV and Lyriq are both GM vehicles built on the same platform and with the same batteries, motors and technology systems. I think it's entirely reasonable to look to the production trends in one vehicle and speculate about the other. I don't understand the sentiment you're expressing, the idea that speculation out loud on an automotive forum, the precise place for such things, is wrong.I’m sorry but a Cadillac isn’t a Chevrolet. Then why aren’t you looking into the equinox which has two top trims coming with super cruise? What about that trend?Blazer EV and Lyriq are both GM vehicles built on the same platform and with the same batteries, motors and technology systems. Who said I'm not. The reason you can and should look to Lyriq is that it's actually being produced and reflects what the current state of GM's supply chain and trim strategy looks like. Like Blazer and Equinox, the stated availability of features was all over the place until production. Then why aren’t you looking into the equinox which has two top trims coming with super cruise? And the blazer and equinox aren’t in production so we can’t assume much until they are. All I’m saying.Who said I'm not. That's correct. Same case with Tahoe and Silverado. Currently only the "High Country" trim offers that feature. Like Ford, GM should offer SC on at least more than one trim.I don't everyone is freaking out about the potential lack of Supercruise on non-SS trim.
