Call me crazy, but I don't think black is a color to best accentuate the lines and style of the Blazer EV. My reservation has been in for a long time --- but when the time comes for a spec, these photos convince me it'll be a different color.

Well, to begin with, I'm not a black car fan. Sorry. This black Blazer RS EV certainly confirms my thoughts about black cars as this one does nothing to build upon my desires for a Blazer EV. To me it just doesn't have any pop and pzazz. Just as a observation, I thought that the Blazer EV had the light bar in the front go all the way across which would light up and indicate the level of charge during charging. This one doesn't appear to me to have that type lighting arrangement?

I agree. I thought the RS and SS trims had a full light bar with the bow tie lit in the front

This must be a "pre-production" version since I read elsewhere that the "production RS and SS will have the full light bar." Also, I don't think the wheels on this vehicle are the same wheels as previously shown on a RS.

To me, the wheels look the same as the ones on GM's renderings of the RS. Understanding this is a pre-production model I did notice the absence of side rocker panels.

Styling and colors are subjective. I like the Blazer in black and I also like the side glass; but to each their own.

TP, just in case you have not been up close and personal with the side glass, or rather the undercover porthole. Still a fan?

I didn't see that but it doesn't bother me at all. The worst I could say is that it's a little quirky. Here's something similar on my '15 Corvette:

Honestly it doesn’t bother me either. The port hole is small yes but I would rather have a small port hole than sealed up plastic that I cannot see out of. That would just create a huge blind spot. At least the small window would let you see that something is there. At the LA auto show I tried the line myself up to see that small window. I could sit in the car but I don’t think it is as bad as people think. I just hate huge blind spots back there.

Welcome to the forum. That's probably why Chevy revealed the concept in Red Hot. Out of all the colors it will be available in, I think it pops the most here. What color(s) are you considering?

Thanks! I love that color, but I feel most are going to order it. I reserved the car within 7 hours of it going live. I believe the color I want is Galaxy Gray. I forget the name. Grayish purple looking.

Not with that ugly red striped interior !!
