I haven't looked at this site in months. Randomly just looked today and did a double take as I was pretty sure the prices increased. What are the odds they were just changed today? Crazy. Hopefully not any more increases. Also saw this however. Hopefully this is accurate and the price shown does include the following as originally I thought freight and dealer fee would have been additional costs.

Prices shown include freight; $100 A/C charge; up to $699 dealer fee; and other fees, levies and duties (all of which may vary by region and/or dealer). License, insurance, duty on new tires and applicable sales taxes are extra. Dealers may be free to set individual prices. Factory order may be required. See dealer for details.

This the info on whats included , not sure it won’t change
The Equinox EV price is also increase by 449$

I am confused with the Dealer Allocations, is every dealer getting some Ev’s based on sales etc. or on the number of preorders they have, does it mean a Dealer will Only get a order based on the first-in line from July, that might mean some Dealers May order any or be late 2023 - 2024

From my discussions with dealers on other EVs the allocation is usually based on past sales. In GMs case there is usually a weighting put on EV sales like the Bolt. That could be dealer
BS however. In the end of the day I don't think it will be based on reservations though. I don't think a small dealer, even though it has large number of reservations will be allocated more. I think it just means a long wait for people with reservations at those dealers.

I ordered my Tucson luxury PHEV October, 2021. Was supposed to be delivered July this year. In march they changed that to October. We went from 661 on the waitlist in January to 68th by July. The salesman figured it would be built in August. In August Hyundai Canada said it was scheduled to be built in September. In September they said it was scheduled to be built in October. In October they said it would be built in October. We had not heard anything since then so I contacted the salesman and he said we were 40th on the list and it would be January now. All I am getting is lots of ridiculous excuses from the dealership.

Here is a discussion from the Hyundai Tucson forum, it shows their frustration and hopefully GM will be more transparent, in my case I put a “ Preorder on Dec 18, 2021 “ not even ordered yet (likely will cancel)

As long as the RS model price stays below 70k it will still qualify for the federal EV rebate on SUVs.
So to confirm, the Blazer would count as a Station Wagon and not a Passenger Car, hence the 70k over 65k? Any idea how much eAWD would be for the RS? Really sucks the SS doesn't receive any incentive, 95k after taxes and fees seems overpriced for what you get extra vs the RS.

Quebec has both, as long the "Base trim" is below 65k$, for which RS is.
Even if you add the eAWD, the base RS trim is still under 65k$, we qualify for 12000$ tax rebate. (5000fed + 7000 provincial)

Lucky, I'm in the prairies so we only get the 5k. Ridiculous that there is no provincial backing here.

What is your ranking at your dealer? I reserve online on July 18, first online, but 21st on the preorder list (that was opened before that day). Dealer quote, my chance getting one in 2023 is slim.
Same here, reserved at 23h03 on July 18, ended up 18 on the list. :(

I've send a email to GM Canada about that, they told me they do not have regards on dealers waiting list.

Many like myself put down a larger deposit to get on the dealer list early. I am #2 on my list but I had to put a 1K deposit down a couple months prior to the initial release.

I don't even know if I want to know where I am on the list as I registered in September... Yeeesh Maybe I'll get a 2025...

My guess is eAWD will be about $1500 - $2000 extra. The Lyriq only has a $2K price premium for AWD and it uses bigger motors.

If RS (no matter the powertrain), has the same battery, then the base would be FWD, a small premium for RWD and eAWD.
The canadian tax grant seregate eligibility base on "Trim" level.
Trim 1LT, 2LT, RS and SS.
Option: RWD, eAWD, other gadget and package.

So, how does a OEM make a differece between trim?
The exterior look? seat fabric?
GM is kinda using the loophole on the canadian market to price the RS at 64959$ without mention what drive train and battery combination it will get.
The only one that gets the RWD is the RS right?

RS FWD and eAWD will use the 10 module battery pack.
RWD will use the 12 module battery pack. And yes only available on RS.

They do seregate eligibility base on "Trim" level, but they already rejected the "model 3" option "long range" in the past, since for them a change of battery OR drivetrain is considered another Trim.

Pretty sure that changing from FWD to RWD / eAWD will not be eligible if the price is over 65K, even if it's an "option"

Ya, that was my point. If they offer the RS RWD, and you end up getting a bigger battery, it should consider as a different trim. It will shoot above 65000$
But FWD/eAWD use the same 10module pack battery module, would consider the same trim.

If I was transport canada, I would consider a bigger battery pack as a separate trim.
the RS base is already at 64959, going to RWD bigger battery as a separate trim surely is above 65000, which will make the "better" range RWD RS unattractive without the tax rebate. (For some of course who would care getting the tax rebate incentive).
