Unfortunately they depreciate like a rock looking for the Titanic. You can get near brand new 24 models with almost no miles for half price.

What do you expect when people are getting new blazerEVs for that amount out of the door...with crazy rebates like 5K from dealer, along with federal and state rebates.
Good for people who could not afford it before...we early adopters feel jealous. But may be its good for EV adoption.

The crazy deals GM did after the stop sale really skew this analysis. Those 1+ year old LTs selling for $28-$29K were probably bought new for $37-$40K after all of the incentives. In May 2024 I paid $43,500 for my loaded RS rwd, including "dealer prep" (but not taxes) after all of the incentives. The pre stop-sale msrp was $63,785. So if I see a '24 RS rwd selling for $31K, I see that as loosing 25%, not 50%.

 

I think my Blazer may be my last new EV. By the time I expect to be looking (3 or 4 years), the used market should be even better in that in will have a greater variety of vehicles. Anybody for a two year old R3X? Or maybe it will be a used Blazer.

 

My son in law was OTD 27125 on a Blazer LT FWD......So your depreciation depends on how much you paid when you bought it! My son in law is going to be in great shape on resale...esp after the $7500 goes away.
