I was hoping to see a Blazer EV at the North Texas Auto Show in Dallas this weekend. Apparently, there will not be one there. So, I'm flying to Chicago tomorrow to see one at that show - the Chicago Auto Show is the largest one in the US.

Don't know how close I can get to the vehicle, but I'll get some pictures. I'm compiling a list of questions, but I doubt I'll get many answers. Let me know if there's anything you'd like me to ask.

Thanks for the heads-up! My Question (of course, the obvious one ;)) : What are the anticipated date(s) for ordering and first deliveries? Not real sure that you will be able to find out very much at the show. Hope so though! So, have a good trip and good luck! Please let us know what you were able to find out.

They had one at DC auto show but unfortunately it was behind the ropes so you couldn't sit or touch it. They only had driver's side door open and when I asked if the rep can open the truck she was like no. It was useless. I mean it was nice to see it in person but at this stage we should be able to interact with the car.

Did you compare with the Lyriq?
Lyriq is supposingly, the same car (but more luxury), With different powertrain, interiors, and facia.
But interior clearance should be similar. I don't however, expect the interior finish to be as refine to Cadi.

I am currently driving an 2016 XC90 T6 Inscription, the cadi interior is still not as comfortable or posh of the volvo.

I had 2017 R-Line XC-90 that I absolutely loved that car. I did have a buggy sensus system but overall it was a beautiful car. I saw your reply from the other thread. Unfortunately, I haven't seen any Lyrics in my area to test or get a good look at it. I am just not a fan of that rear design. I would love to see the new EX90 in person, even tough it will be much more expensive than Blazer and Model Y.

Flew back to Austin from Chicago late last night after attending Chicago Auto Show all day Saturday - started at 10:00 AM when they opened, but by early afternoon, it was a mad house. Chevrolet had a huge EV presence emphasizing their line of Ultium vehicles - no other manufacturer had near as much EV floor space or EV emphasis as they did. They seem to be really going all-in on the Ultium platform.

The preproduction Blazer EV was the SS model, but had a barrier that kept you ~4 feet away from the vehicle and only the driver's door was open - see pics. They also had an Equinox EV behind a barrier. The Chevy reps claimed to have no other information than what is publicly available, and I really doubt that they did know more. I took a tape measure and got a decent estimated measurement of the overall length ~190" and ~64" height plus or minus an inch or so.

I also saw every EV SUV there. I got a ride in all of the EV SUVs that offered them (except the Bolt) on the indoor tracks. List of vehicles also shown. Overall impression is that the Blazer is still probably my first choice; although, for about $10K more, the Lyriq is really sweet. The Lyriq floor model had an MSRP of $61.6K.

I was just there for Media Day. It is sectioned off. They won't let anyone sit in it. I was able to some pics and video.

I don't believe in sterotypes neither and I'm not a marketing guy. If I was, I would target specific types with my products. Just here to chitchat while we hopelessly wait for this car :)
I like your positive attitude. I hopelessly waited well over a year for my Mach E. It was well worth the wait. Now I anxiously await the Blazer SS.

Other than the Firebird Formula I purchased in 1978, I’ve always been a Ford person. The Blazer was always on my to do list. Now that it’s an EV with an updated sporty look, I’m hooked. I look forward to driving both vehicles. I just hope GM doesn’t disappoint me.

I had hoped to see the blazer EV at the Silicon Valley Auto show this past weekend. Unfortunately there was no GM representation.
The show was actually really small compared to what I was expecting.
The San Francisco Auto show is postponed to November 2023.
Welcome to the forum @tikispeed86! Sorry to hear that you weren't able to see the Blazer EV on the weekend. Car companies are more picky these days about which shows they attend. Which Blazer model are you looking to get?

Have you reached out to any local dealers? Sometimes Chevy has certain dealers handle events close to them, so that might be one way to find out ahead of time and save yourself from jumping around.
