At this point (before the reveal) what trim level are you favoring?

As much as I think I would love the "Hot Rod" (SS) I don't think that will be the trim level that I would be inclined to wait on / buy. I will be interested in seeing how the various trim levels are delineated and perhaps more importantly, how they are priced. I wonder if GM has proactively given any quiet (or otherwise) mandates concerning "market adjustments"? They seem to be in fashion these days on EV's, but they are also drawing the ire of EV buyers. They seem to be standard fare on the KIA EV6 with some dealers commanding 10K+ over MSRP. What a rip...

I'm going to start out as of today wanting the SS. Like you, I'm going to look at all the trims though and see how they are equipped, priced, etc. I'm a little put off by the lack of factual information we got on the Ocean pre-launch so I'm hoping Chevy will have all the facts, details, pricing and timeframe to give us Monday night. I hear you on the FMV adjustments dealers are adding. I have it in writing from my local dealer I hope to use that they DO NOT mark up their vehicles. Hopefully that will hold true down the road.

Same here Chip. For me, it's how much bang do you get for how many bucks! We'll see. "Market Adjustments"...Not worried. My dealer (wife's family) has assured no more than MSRP. So, at least, don't have to worry about that crap!

I'm with you with regard to the Ocean. As much as I like what I have seen of it, there are SO many open questions. I passed on the "invitation" to put down a non-refundable $5,000 on a car no one outside the company has driven, with a UI that is still being designed. Frankly, I think it was an insulting offer. It has soured me on buying from a company that would take advantage of customers in that way.

I seem to recall seeing somewhere that a two tone paint treatment (roof having one color and body being another color) was going to be offered on the Equinox EV has anyone heard anything about the Blazer being offered with this option? I guess we will find out one way or another in a few days! I have another question for you folks. How important is a "very good" sound system to you, and what brand is GM now installing in its "premium" vehicles? A good sounding audio system is important to me, but sadly at this point in my life I have tortured my hearing with way too many years of high decibel Blues & Rock. I figure I can still hear the difference between a good audio system and one that is just adequate though. Rock on! (What did he say?) ;)
If there is a Premier trim with better range than the SS, that is what I would prefer. I prefer not to pay a premium in dollars and range for a sub-4 second 0-60.

I'd like a SS trim Blazer. However, I'm not willing to pay a big price for one. I'm looking for something <$60K that's well equipped with good range and performance. I already have a reservation for a Fisker Ocean. A Blazer EV for me would have to be very competitive with a Ocean Ultra. Plus, I'm open to other alternatives as well.

I ordered the Fisker Ocean One, but am excited to see the Blazer as well.
SS trim is where I was at but when all said and done, based on the reveal, would be 70k or so....a bit higher than I anticipated. I may hold off and get top trim level of the equinox.
Went with the SS. Will share some more thoughts tomorrow.
I went with the RS. Seems to be right on target for what I'm looking for!
