I got the same alerts as you this morning. I scheduled the update for 7pm, but when I got home I decided to just do it. I assumed the garage would be a problem, so I parked on the street and it was scheduled to start a few minutes later.

A few minutes after it started, I got an alert on the MyChev app saying it failed and I should try later. But I went out to the car and it was still in process, about half way through according to the display - 7 minutes to go. Will follow up here afterwards.

I guess I have to wait to see when I get mine
One of the great mysteries of the earth! I was wondering too, until yesterday.

I would add that when my brother owned a Model Y in it's earlier years, he said that they came out too often and were sometimes something "goofy" that presumably Mr. You Know Who had insisted on. He seems to have dreaded them as who knows what function they might take away on a whim. He now owns an Ioniq 5, though the switch came before the recent Musk-inspired madness. I told him that I think Chevy has a different philosophy than Tesla on these OTA updates.

I mentioned my OTA to a friend who has a Mach E, and she says she gets them all the time and is sick of them. They change the UI and she has to learn how to do things again, because they aren't in the same place in the menus. Has anybody seen this with a GM update? I haven't even driven mine since the update. I am retired and don't drive every day.

No and honestly if you're still having those your car is probably lacking dealer updates. I don't have any notable glitches and it seems that's the case for most folks that have had proper updates from their dealer.

One ota just says improving cars ability to receive otas and the other fixes operation of the heated wiper park.
Since glitches are by definition recurring and not constant, I don't know if I still have them as I have only driven a couple miles since then. But I was still having them before the update. The most common is that Vehicle Status goes blank. The dealer did the big update weeks before I bought the car. It is listed. When I go in for my free checkup I will ask about updates.

My main glitchiness, the blanking of all Vehicle Status displays, has not happened since the update. While it was intermittent, it was frequent and I could usually get it to happen by navigating among the different functions in it. Have not been able to make it happen since the update. 🤞
