Anyone considering a Cadillac Lyriq?

I personally have also reserved one of these for the 2024 build. For another $100 which is refundable, it's worth reserving. The AWD is slightly less than the Blazer SS and will have 500HP with a little less torque. The lines are really clean and has the same manual controls as the Blazer EV. Yes. Reserved one before I reserved my Blazer.
I'd rather have the Lyriq since it's not much more than the RS, but if I reserve now, I'd have to wait for 2024...

I actually have both on order. Whichever comes first.

Basically the same here, but if the RS AWD is not near 500HP I'll have some decisions.
Not a fan of Cadillac…resale is right up there with Lincoln now. The Lyric is OK, as far as design goes, front is Cadillac, rear is ???
I just don’t see it making it. I don’t think we can compare the SS price to the Lyric. They are in different
ballparks. I would rather buy the Blazer. Yeh, it’s just me, but driving around my neighborhood in the
Bay area, we both would feel “out of place”…I currently drive a 530e….lots of those around…VERY
few Cadillacs. IMHO Cadillac lost its luster MANY years ago. ”The train has left the station”…

I'm 99% sure the Blazer EV RS AWD will be ~290hp. (same powertrain as the RS AWD Equinox EV).
The Lyriq is a good value.

I think you are right...but...I hope you are wrong on this one! 🤞
I don't expect the RS to hit the 500hp mark, since the SS is 557hp, but it better be in the 450-475hp range in AWD trim. Anything less would be disappointing..

Ultium has three motors. A ~320hp motor, a ~210-240hp motor and a ~80-87hp motor.

The SS uses the large motor rear and medium motor front.
Only the RWD RS uses the large motor.
That leaves only so many other combinations available.

If those are accurate ratings the AWD RS will only have 327hp would be the top end; i.e. THAT WOULD SUCK!!

LOL, yes it would, as with everything, it's subject to change.

Is there a reason the awd can’t use 2 medium motors? Won’t that give it over 400hp?

It's plausible. But it would be a unique configuration that they would need to independently calibrate and verify and work into the production system and supply chain. Does the business case for this one configuration justify the investment?

I reserved a 4wd Lyriq and if is available b/4 the Blazer SS I will buy the Cadillac
they both should be great cars. Also considering the Genesis EV60
First come First served
For me personally, The Lyric exterior design is better than the SS but I don't want either of the 2 color options. I prefer the grill on the SS. I also just watched a review on the Lyric and they discussed the door handles, I originally thought the flush handles were much better than the Blazer but the Lyric handles are not handles at all, they are a button that just kicks the door open. I also think the interior of the Blazer is a bit better.

Ive got both reserved. We like the exterior and interior layout of the Cadillac better but my wife had an Alfa Stelvio Quadrofolio and misses the 0-60 in the mid 3 range. It looks like the SS will be the only one of the two to be able to offer that kind of acceleration. I do have the all wheel drive lyriq reserved but no haven't found very many details on acceleration.
