Does the base price for Blazer EV include or exclude federal tax incentives?
GM has surpassed the current threshold for sales volumes on EVs to qualify for any Federal tax incentives. Final vehicle price is set by dealers and state and local incentives vary and are not included in our pricing estimates.
What is the range of the Blazer EV?
Depending on the model you choose, Blazer EV offers a GM-estimated range of up to 320 miles on a full charge*. Final range numbers for each model will be announced at a later date.
Does Blazer EV come with a charge cord?
All Blazer EV trims come standard with a Dual Level Charge Cord. A changeable plug for both 120-volt level 1 charging and 240-volt level 2 charging*.
What is the power of the Blazer EV onboard charger?
The Blazer EV delivers with an 11.5 kW onboard AC charging module for home charging* and public charging, along with high-speed DC public fast-charging capability of up to 190 kW, enabling recharging of up to 78 miles of range to be added in approximately 10 minutes*.
What is the hands-free start feature?
With hands-free start, your Blazer EV is ready to go when you are. No fumbling with keys or pushing buttons. Simply enter the vehicle with your key fob, tap the brake, and Blazer EV is ready to drive.
Will Blazer EV have One Pedal Driving Mode?
Yes, Electronic Precision Shift with One Pedal Driving* mode will come standard on all Blazer EV trims. One Pedal Driving increases the regenerative braking effect of the vehicle and helps you capture energy and sends it back to the battery.
Will Blazer EV have towing capability?
Trailering provisions are included in our Comfort & Convenience Package on the 2LT model with AWD and standard on the RS model. Additional vehicle features and options will be provided closer to start of 2024 Blazer EV production.
What is GM’s Ultifi platform and what benefit will it bring to Blazer EV?
Ultifi* enables and empowers customers to update their vehicle throughout its lifecycle with new features, third-party integrations, and more frequent over-the-air software updates. This means the ownership experience of a vehicle like the Blazer EV changes and improves with new features and capabilities over time.
What is the difference between Ultium and Ultifi?
Ultium is General Motors’ groundbreaking all-new battery platform that brings with it new power, new force, new flexibility and, of course, a new range of possibilities.
A major enabler of Blazer EV’s technologies will be Ultifi*, a new Linux-based software platform. Developed inhouse at GM, it separates the vehicle’s software from the hardware to enable rapid and frequent software updates. This will give drivers the opportunity to evolve their vehicles over time with new features, third-party integrations, and more frequent over-the-air software updates. This means the ownership experience of a vehicle like Blazer EV changes and updates capabilities over time.
